The illustrations show a range of Lopez's published work from 1966 to 1986; many are from Vanity, the legendary magazine created by Anna Piaggi that showcased her favorite designers, many illustrated by Lopez. The ALS: "Dear June [Weir], Please take a look at my ew book - and let me know if you like it - (fingers cross). I hope you do! / love, Antonio." Near Fine in VG slipcase, catalogue unmarked & fresh; slipcase has two tears/splits in paper covering at edges. The lots consist of dresses, coats, hats, shoes, lingerie designed by Poiret, a few personal objects of Paul Poiret, wallpaper & printed fabric samples, small furniture & models from Atelier Martine, and objects from his Rosine perfume line. Includes contemporary photographs of the Poirets at home. Sept 2006 article from W magazine, "King Paul" by Lorna Koski, laid in.
