VG, covers soiled & rubbed, pencil drawing of 3 kittens on back cover, text unmarked. Lakewood, NJ was the most famous winter resort in the East from 1880 until 1930 or so. Laurel House, one of the grand hotels, opened in 1881 with a billing as "the first great resort hotel to be erected in America." Ten years later the equally impressive Laurel-in-the-Pines went up. This promotional viewbook provides an exterior illustration and floor plans of both these hotels as they appeared in 1900. OCLC shows 4 copies.

The illustrations show a range of Lopez's published work from 1966 to 1986; many are from Vanity, the legendary magazine created by Anna Piaggi that showcased her favorite designers, many illustrated by Lopez.
